Bantham beach

Access to this spot is not for the faint hearted as you enter through the narrow country lanes of the village, be sure to drive slowly as you enter the seafront but don’t worry there is a large car park right at the end to park up without any worry.
Close by you can find the small village of Bigbury-on-Sea, that connects to the historic Burgh Island with the luck of tidal waters your able to take a stroll across to the island to explore. Whilst the island demonstrates its natural beauty, it forms a strong association to Famous author Agatha Christie, who often visited and used the setting as inspiration for her novels.

Salcombe
The Next Adventure Spot
The beautiful town of Salcombe lies within the outstanding natural beauty of South Devon, along the banks of Kingsbridge Estuary it forms a picturesque village full of cute shops, stunning beaches and the best local rustic pubs you can find. Only a short ferry ride across the river you find yourself at East Portlemouth Beach, with low tide your able to wander along the sand banks to Mill Bay and if your lucky all the way round to Sunny Cove Beach. But be sure to head back in time to catch the last ferry across back to the village or you’ll find yourself trapped in the little coves. Whilst you may think there’s worst places to get stuck, when you realise the only way back is to swim or frantically wave down a passing boat you’ll be sure to leave enough time to get back safely.
With many a quant shops to explore through the village, make sure to amerce yourself exploring the local shops, authentic cuisine and supporting the local businesses that Salcome has to offer.
